SEP 002: Federation protocol
Regarding the Divine connection: Imagine Divine as a guiding principle of simplicity and clarity and connection. SEP 2 does that for Stellar by simplifying a complex address, allowing us to create something easier to understand and share. The divine transforms, complicated processes into something easier and more relatable. It’s like a digital manifestation of bringing people closer together just as Divine wisdom aims to unite our understanding of the universe.
Divine in biometrics: By incorporating something as unique and individual as biometrics, SEP 2 not only makes transactions easier, but also respects uniqueness and integrity of each person mirroring Divine principles of identity and security. It ensures that no one can steal our identity or hack our account since we are unique and one of a kind and can’t be duplicated, biometrics like our iris, can’t fool the system.
Side note: Has anyone ever thought that the “G” of our G address might actually represent 🔠🔠🔠? Like as in, he gave us that unique address? I wonder if it ties into a UNIQUE location somewhere in the 🔠🔠🔠🔠🔠🔠! Perhaps our original (as in ORIGIN) “address?” Just pondering! 🤔

In spiritual terms biometrics can be seen as a reflection of the divine and unique essence of each individual. Just as every fingerprint, iris and voice pattern is distinct, the symbolism of biometrics shows a unique energetic mark or soul imprint. The uniqueness is seen in some traditions as the expression of one’s inner essence which cannot be replicated or duplicated.
We could say that biometrics acts as a bridge between the physical and spiritual dimensions. When we think of what biometrics is: our fingerprints, facial patterns or our voices, these carry the marks of our individuality, mirroring something much deeper, which is our spiritual identity.
It is said ‘the eyes are the windows of the soul’. The physical markers such as our fingerprints or retina are outward signs of our unique inner being. These markers distinguish us from others and also show the uniqueness of our spirit, that our soul is as distinct and individual as its physical form.
Our physical traits reflect our deeper spiritual journey reminding us that we are a blend of body and soul. There is a beauty in the sacred balance between the material and spiritual aspects of life. We can honour our physical existence while acknowledging our connection to something greater, a spirit that transcends the physical realm. Hence biometrics symbolises how our outer self is tied to our inner being, showing the harmony between the two.

Retinal biometrics will be able to differentiate between a clone eyeball, a picture or a video and a real person’s face. AI-enabled liveness detection to video selfies help confirm signers are real.Google biometric identity verification process; this is planned for passport-based digital IDs as well as crypto banking, credit card companies for its passkey service. These are being adopted by other countries such as Germany, India, Malawi, Vietnam and many more.

A person creates an account that is stored in the Stellar federation protocol. This protocol associates Stellar addresses with user-friendly names (similar to an email address, e.g. name at domain. com star stellar dot org. The email address is converted into an account number such as GCDFR…..HGTZK, which simplifies payment processing and facilitates transactions and is not easy to track (eg if you look for a name i an telefon book its easier than finding a name through atelefon number - thanks @Lichtkind08 for this great example!
Just as the soul changes over the course of its journey, moving into the body to have different experiences, a person on stellar also needs an address in order to send and receive and experience transacations. The Stellar Federation Protocol makes it easier to send and receive payments by simplifying complex addresses, just as a body simplyfies humans gain earthly experiences - both good and bad, which are stored and karmically balanced. Transactions, both good and bad, are also tracked and identified in the Stellar network - with consequences!
Each soul is associated with a body, and all souls originate from one creation, are interconnected, and sign their thoughts and actions - represented by transactions and orders on the Stellar Network - through their unique soul imprint. The soul is never lost and serves as the key to security. It connects everyone together, just as Stellar connects all users and addresses through interoperability.
